Schooling rate is very low in the neighbourhood where girls are responsible for caring for their little siblings as their parents have to work; therefore most of them cannot go to school.

Growing up with Romani culture, these children are espoused at early ages so as not to get involved with other groups. As a result of this child abuse, uneducated, unhealthy generations and multi-child families emerge.

Our Foundation started a choir with students of Durali Bezci Primary School - in the middle of this region- within the scope of Rhythm Academy Project. The choir to which the students who attend to school regularly can join and a greater part of which is Romani students has also been supported by 3 rd graders of Bilkent Laboratory and International School. The choir performed on April 23, 2012 for the first time.
